Fire Starter

I can feel the heat inside of me, rising slowly as I think of you
You created something beyond the lust I feel inside for you
The strong animal desire that your love surrounded and created inside of me
Beyond even words for me at times as the summer would grow warmer

A wildfire that often threatened to burn out of control but felt so good
Something you and only you could ever form inside of me as we became one
Nothing else seems to matter but what we added to one and the other
Fire and oxygen came together to create a life that just breathed into the flames

Pushing each other closer and closer to the edge until we fell into the abyss
Nothing left that we would not share or feelings we would not cling to so strong
You brought that life to me and those desires were the air that helped me breathe
As you were the fire starter that threatened to consume me without hesitation or fear
