Drift Away

When the world comes crashing down around me it all feels like too much
All I have to do is reach deep down inside me and find those thoughts of you
Just let the world fade around me like the last embers of another day

Calling up those memories inside of me and the things you do for me
Nothing seems to matter, no matter how hard I feel that I have fallen
Time has gone by and it is better to have that with you, always inside of me

Let the world throw forth what it has to give and I will just let it go on by
I just need to find that peace inside of me and those memories of you
Close my eyes and let the world drift away as I think of you
