Stronger

When I know you are near the weakness seems to fade away
When I hear your words I find something inside of me
When that time we spend together comes I feel stronger about it

I feel myself step back further from the abyss I have stared into for too long
The sweet call that it presented to me and my will slipping away each new day
That call of oblivion that I would have eventually stepped into and found something?

But with each new day, that fate seems more and more distant to me
Something in the future that seems brighter to me and I want to reach for it
