Stronger

How many nights have I just sat staring at the page and finding nothing?
The words are trapped inside but unable to escape onto the page
There are moments of course, but those just feel like temporary reprieves

But tonight something feels like it changed beyond my control
Like a weight being lifted from my shoulders and again something comes
The words forming and finding life on the page once again.

Strong for this, as if something has been awoken by my muse
This feeling is something I want to hold so strongly onto
Who knows how long it will last but I find that smile again
