I no longer knew the consequences of what this could be.
Thought I had found my everything when I found you
So many feelings that I tried so hard to keep at bay

Don't quite understand where it all went wrong
But I know that it makes me still miss you
Time is the supposed healer of so many wounds, but not for me

Now I am here again and second-guessing every move
Breaking my own rules to keep looking back to see anything
Waiting to see if I am fooling myself or just being a certified fool
