Quietly standing in the shadows or perhaps at one time
Wanting to be unseen and only seeking some space for me
Hide from the past and seek even a moment of peace

The world has now become so much bigger in my eyes
And I find myself breaking the rules I set for myself
Wanting even a glimpse of something even if it is from a distance

One foot through the door and now not knowing what to do?
Something I never thought would happen again or is it even?
Unwanted and unsought but here and now, what am I to do?
