Weeping

The feelings never seem to fade away
Thoughts of what could have been if I were able to
Those moments of joy are now replaced with the emptiness inside
Weeping those bitter tears when I cannot hold them back this time

Falling to the ground when I cannot keep my eyes closed anymore
Lost in the moment and glad that I am alone and no one can see
The stinging feeling in my eyes matched with the feelings in my heart
Weeping those bitter tears for love lost and gone forever

The feelings inside were worse than any physical pain I could feel
The intense emptiness I feel gnawing away like the pains of hunger
My eyes closed and opened once again as I tried to fight back my loss and fear
Weeping those bitter tears that come to me when I am all alone,
