Do do you put the date

I do it like this. Like today is 12/10/2023. Some places do it differently some people do it differently. I will also do it this way 12/10/23. And if it Single digits I will not ad a zero it will be like this 5/6/24. Unless the place I’m doing it like a website requires a 0. Then 05/06/24. But I would agree that dd/mm/yy makes the most sense. But I have most always seen it mm/dd/yy. I’m is USA.
