Minds confused by the good things said and done
Fears caused by the bad things that we struggle to make undone
Look beyond where you might think and there I am

Dark corners of our minds hide the fears and struggles we resist
The light of happiness is far from our collective minds
Promises are given and then taken away. all that is feared comes to stay
Look beyond where you might think and there I am

Stumbling over our actions and lack of depending on where we turn
This way and that as that confused state takes hold of all I know
I am somewhere but I do not know how to get back
Look deep enough and come find me there.
