Come now from your slumber and leave the dreaming world behind
Come join us as the real world waits for you to return to it once more
Leave behind the peace of your dreams and wake once more
Wipe your eyes and struggle as you try to recall your dreams

Such peace in the moment but like all good things they are fleet-footed and slip away
Even as your eyes struggle to adjust to the brightness of a new day they fade
If you counted the seconds, you know there would be nothing in a few short seconds
Come and rise from where you sought to find peace for a time and shut out the world

your silent hopes as you slipped into that world of dreams still unanswered
A moment's joy from that time was taken away as quickly as you awoke
Those dreams are now gone and have given way to the waking world as you rise up
Time to put on the mask once more and show those around you that you are fine.
