Miracles were something I never realised could be true
You hear the stories and wonder if they're true
As I take the time to try to understand

Never thought such things would ever be real
The cynical world collapsed all around me as the darkness poured in
Sinker deeper than ever thought could be

And then I found you and you showed something new
Chased away that darkness and fought to never let it through
Your warmth and love were a shield that held me tight
Making everything seem like it would be alright

That everyday miracle that you bring to me
Keeping things at bay when they threaten to overwhelm me
Never thought I would know love like this again
But my everyday miracle worker proved me wrong again and again
