Comfort

Comfort within myself is that level of peace that I have always struggled to find
Finding someone you could feel confident with and trust enough to let go
That person who just lights up your life when you think of them
it is a place that is so hard to find and even seems harder to sustain

Just because you feel that comfortable does not mean they feel the same
Words are often spoken and taken the wrong way or just said at the wrong time
But the space in between is absolute magic and I cherished it so deeply
Perhaps I did not understand everything that was expected of me

Now that comfort is gone and with it words that perhaps hurt us both
But even with that still fresh in my mind. I cannot help but relive the past
The good times that inspired me through the darkness and fear
Times have gone by and nothing but the best held inside for her
