Love

Before me I see you laying across the bed
Your legs lifted back as you lay on your stomach
Hands under your chin as your elbows touch the bed

I stand in the doorway and cannot help but to smile at you
A twinkle in your eye as you smile back mischievously
Your eyes opened wide as your head tilted to one side

My heart flutters at even something as simple as this from you
I feel the excitement build inside of me as my breath quickens
I watch as you move one hand from under your chin and gesture to me

I know there is nowhere else I would rather be
No one I would rather be with and in all of this
I know I have found a love that holds my heart and soul in its grasp
