Looking back into the past is like looking into myself
The good times and the bad, things that I should have let go of a long time ago
Things that perhaps I should have held onto a little longer

But that is the past and with you, I see the future
Things of the past are lessons to be learned from
The moments we spent together are now and forever in my heart and mind

Like a fire that burns deep inside, I feel you around me
The heat of your passion is desires formed within me
We are at times volatile together but are so much less apart
