Red is the colour that shows you the passion in you
Red burns deep like a fire underneath
Red is the temper that can lash out and cut to the bone

Red is the intensity that you bring with your love
Red is the fire that sometimes burns too bright
Red is the glow that you give to the world, a place comforting for those who know

The colour burns so bright with love, life and often the fight
If I stand too close, I could be burned
if I stand to far, I risk losing that love I know in my heart
