The cold days when sleep is lost for the good of others and hope springs eternal
The quiet nature of everything around you as you look to find the truth

Small victories clung to like driftwood in the ocean
Something to keep you afloat as you wait for the next thing to be
Such a good person, sacrifice for others even though nothing comes for you

Relentless in this pursuit of happiness, even at the sake of your own
Relentless in this need to give so others can have more
Relentless even though you know there is no reward and slowly you lose it all
