it is said the world can just beat you down
Take away all of that fight you once had
Broken and beaten and down for the world to see

That is one way to see the world but I prefer to see it as something else
Live without love is lost and without sound to me
An Empty void where nothing around you holds anything you need

You can continue to stumble forward, but how long can you scream without sound
The silence of this void takes everything and leaves you empty each and every day
