Distant at first and time had to pass before we became more
Slowly we have grown together, both of us with our secrets first untold
Over time those things came to be and if anything strengthened the need

A wonderful and wild beauty that seemed to dance to her own tune
Music I followed and could not help but to listen too
Layer after layer stripped away and only a fool could not love you

The silence between us is nothing more than a chance to miss you
The times we are together are sands of time that pass too quickly
The place we have found together is the strength that keeps us strong
