Rainbows & Mirrors

Multicoloured and shining bright as it stretched over the cloudy sky
So many colours with so many meanings to be learned for those with curious minds
Red, Orange, yellow and green to be seen

Blue, indigo and violet too, seven colours across the sky shining bright
Shown in the sky for me and needing to be seen
Sat here in the car and looked at the reflection before me

The mirror showing in the reflection as the colours float in the air
is there a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow or is it just a myth
Sat beside is someone far better and who I would never want to miss

Sharing at this moment, our eyes locked to the mirror and the reflection in it
my hand in hers as we both feel lost in this moment
Nevermore and nothing less, just two people in love and doing their best
