Running Wild
Running wild
He could feel the rush of air all around him as he passed across the void between the two buildings, nothing below but a sheer drop to the hard concrete floor and ahead of him the rooftop he aimed for.
He felt the rush of adrenalin surge through his body as he landed feet first and let his body roll forward until he was tucked into a ball and moving across the roof and coming back up onto his feet and stopping.
He turned his head back to look across the gap between the building he had just leapt from and this one, .he could see the beautiful form of Jana, .her dark hair flowing behind her as she too sailed across the void and found the same roof as he had.
As soon as he saw she had landed safely he was on the move once more, his arms pumping back and forth as he rushed towards the edge of this building and the next roof across from it.
He was sure the distance seemed considerably greater than the previous one, but this did not stop him, if anything he found another greater motivation as took several more running steps and let his feet touch the edge of this roof and was once again traversing the distance between each structure.
Once again he revelled in the rush of air around him and wished he could just stay in this place and let it wash over him, his feet crashed down on the concrete a moment later and he felt his body begin to spill forward as he lost his footing on the even rooftop.
He felt the change come over him, and without hesitation, he let his human visage shift away as he flipped forward in an attempt to stop himself from crashing face-first into the rooftop.
His body shifted from the human form and into his natural lycanthropic body and he fell forward and let his massive hands stop himself from sliding any further across the surface.
He let his head snap back and he saw that Jana had faired better than he had as she sailed across the gap she too shifted into her natural form and the beautiful white-furred humanoid dropped gracefully behind him.
He looked at her and she gave him a closed-mouth grin and let her head drop back as she looked up at the full moon that hung overhead he threw his head back and began to howl into the night as she did
