Another day has come and gone
The things I fought so hard for pushed down
Taken away and made out to be nothing

The moment of weakness now forced back
The feeling of happiness now lost
Replaced with a fleeting moment of joy as it is recalled

Taking several steps forward and fighting when I stumble back
Finding my footing and steeling my resolve
Life gives us good and bad
