New Moon

Like the cycles of the moon, I was waning before I met you
Then you came into my life and I felt the magnetism you had over me
My life becoming like the third quarter of the moon, my joy growing with you

The life within me growing with the moments I have with you
The beauty you give to my life as we spent more and more time together
The waning moon coming next as what I feel for you is given back

Now we have grown so much together, through the good times and the bad
I cannot imagine my life without you and want you always with me
The new moon in my life and the darkness of the night is always brighter
