Opening my eyes and seeing you standing over me
The sleepiness still gripping me from the night before
Several blinks as I try to find the strength to pull myself from the slumber

I look up into your beautiful face and you smile back at me

I realise now that you are dressed for work and ready to leave

My mouth falls open as I struggle to find the words to speak
