In the glow of the light from the purple and reds lights that shone
A glow almost unnatural in intensity as it spread out from above
The people stood before the barrier that separated them from the stage

The blast of sound coming from the speakers and the crowd roar with appreciation
A collection of instruments fill the concert hall as the music spreads near and far
The purple and red turn to Blue and yellow light, the energy growing as it does

On the stage, the singer twirls the microphone stand in a theatrical manner
Taking two steps back from the edge and calling out to the waiting masses
The assembled people roar back in response to their hero's call

A smile formed on his face as he takes another step
As another takes centre stage, his hands on the strings of the guitar as he plays
His moment to shine is taken as he has done every time before
