Spiral (Swirling lights)

Spiral

Swirling lights all around me, my body spinning as I feel it spiral
I cannot tell up from down, just the exhilaration of what grips my body
Senses overwhelmed and not sure of where to go?

Continuing to spin and wondering if I can look up or look down
Can I will myself from this downward spiral or am I rising?
My senses continue to be lost in all that is around me

A sense of calm fell over me as her words came to me
The realisation that not all is good or bad. that I can make choices to find happiness
The spiral can be downwards, but it also can be a path upwards
