Love collides

Like two celestials bodies striking each other in the heavens
I felt like I fell from the sky when I set my eyes upon you
The moment I had found my wings and took to the stars above

A moment that rarely came, slipped free of the anger and hurt
Gravity defied and the feelings long thought dead and gone were back again
Circled around each other as if caught in the solar winds

Dragged one way and pushed another
Lost in the uncertainty of needing another
A chance taken, no a chance given by the other

Burning so bright and never to last
One wanting so much and the other knowing nothing
Love collides and what is left remains to be seen.
