The moment I awaken, I can see your beautiful face
I would give anything to see it every day
My world dragged from the darkness even if I fought to stay

The power of your will is even more stubborn than mine
You have lived this world of pain and saw this in me
Your mind on display drawing me to you, your hand offered in friendship

Teaching me things about myself. I never understood
Fuelling the fire inside me and directing it into something good
