On-time

Standing here in the shadows of the night
The moon touches the street as I watch and wait
Wondering when you will come

Once I knew when that would be
But now that is gone, a stranger to myself when I thought I knew
Here I stand waiting and you are still not the one I see

I am here and still unsure, time will tell what is to be
Whether I will be lost as I am or whether you will come and be here with me
