The crushing pain you feel in your chest
The dreams you feel being torn from you
The confusion you cannot escape

What did you do wrong?
Why has it gone from something that made you feel alive
Why does it now feel like you have done it all wrong

Deep down inside you realise that you are not enough
Never have been and never will be
No matter what you do, never enough

The love you want to give is never to be done
Accept what you are and live with the pain
Bury it down deep and just pray for the end

These are the pits of despair that can come
We need to stand and fight and see what can change
In time we find what we seek, the strength and courage we need
