How can the world offer so many temptations

Seeking something that was always fleeting
Seeking that elusive feeling of belonging
Seeking the emptiness inside of me to be filled

The paths walked full of things to draw the eye
The journey was long and often a road full of treachery
The moments of joy were fleeting as the sadness seemed to last

No temptations could be enough to lure me from you
No temptations powerful enough to make me not stay on this course
No Temptations are ever great enough to break the love I feel for you
