From within

We keep the things we feel inside
We keep the pain that has somehow become all we know
We hide any joy we once had, the fear it would just amplify the pain we feel

From within

A chance to try and explore our feelings, the things we have buried deep
So many tears were buried and never released into the world because I could not
The moments of happiness seemed lost in the world of suffering

From within

But with you, I am learning to feel again
But with you, I am going to find that release from all I have bottled up
But with you, I will find the tears I have suppressed and finally let go

From within

The feelings need to be released as you teach me everyday
The emptiness filled by the simple things I have learned from you and live again
The moments of happiness become stronger every day

From within

I am becoming the person that I once was and will be again
