Passion's prison

Our passions can drive us, and make us want more
Our passions can divide us as we need more
Our passions can break us, and make us yearn for more than we can have

We can become motivated to push ourselves harder
We can try to take more and neglect those around us
We can try to have what never can be and let it break us

The passion's I feel are for you
The passion that you have fanned
The air that fills my life and adds fuel to those passions

I was once a prisoner with those passions
Now I am free and no longer within
