What is magic, is it something even real
Surprise is that magical or is it just something unexpected
Like the first rays of sunshine after a bitter storm

into my life she came, a guardian and caregiver
Giving love and allowing it to be given in return
A ripple upon the streams of time

Like the stone skipped across the water
The effect is there for a moment but always in my eyes
A constant dream that I do not want to awaken from
