Flash Fiction Challenge.

The professor was nearing the end of his toil in the laboratory.
His manservant emerged from the shadows bearing tea in splendid new floral mugs.

He heard the knock on the door, opening it he saw the new neighbor. Champagne glasses in hand. Both of them singles, sharing a smile.

Life after Covid

It was all new again
Strange,startling even
The isolation was over
And now all was different
No masks, no social distancing,no hand sanitizer stations in every public place
But still a collective chill, a fear that was left lingering unspoken

Could it happen again?


Over 25 didn't see that until done 🤦‍♀️

Thinking "New" was better; Harry went to bed early that New Year's Eve,just to make "New" come quicker. Sadly it was December of 2020.

Even though he new it was wrong, he still typed it anyway.
