Probably wasn't disapproval, just surprise. Maybe jealousy too, about your confidence and carefree-ness about it! In either case, no, you shouldn't care...that is so much a normal place/time to go shirtless! I don't wear a shirt MOST of the time when I shoot hoops outside with my friends, or play tennis or volleyball.
