Drinking with Strangers

Hey guys just want to share this experience with you over the weekend. I was at my cousin's house to have a drink. We setup a small table and chairs just behind the gate. So he lived in a neighborhood where houses are closely attached and the streets are narrow. More like a semi-ghetto and we can see people pass by. At first it was just the two of us, but his guy friends happened to walk by and we invited them. Later as we drank more shots, the liquor was starting to heat up our bodies. I can see some guys flapping their shirts over to cool their torsoes but none of them took their shirts off.
It was mentioned here before that guys tend to follow someone who's doing the initiative. So I tested that theory. I flapped my shirt higher, just enough to expose my chest. I noticed two other guys did the same. Eventually I took off my shirt off but excused myself to smoke. The two other guys followed me. They wanted to smoke as well. When we get to the area where we smoke, they both took their shirts off. We continued chatting as usual.
When the three of us went back to the group. The rest of the guys took their shirts off except for one guy who was wearing a stringer. He was almost topless to begin with so he didn't took it off.
Have you had any experience similar to this?

That' s a great story, bro! The guys that were flapping their shirts probbaly wanted to take their shirts off, and they waited to the first guy that will take his shirt off so they could follow him. I saw it happened many times in hot weather. First some men flapping their shirts until the first guy take his off and some other guys follow him. I think it is the way that men sign each other that they want ti take their shirts off. Great to hear that you proved our theory man! I wish that men will always feel free to take shirts off in such situations

@GuyAsaf I'd test this theory again in a different setting.
