After spending pretty much 2 full days without a shirt on the weekend I thought I'd try my luck and see if I'd be let into a restaurant and served seated on a Sunday evening. It wasn't a fancy establishment just a mostly Quick Chinese food restaurant...

Not tacky, at all. It should be encouraged. I once went to an outdoor food establishment by the beach, and I was the only one eating my food bare chested. Doesn’t make sense why others weren’t enjoying this privilege, as well.

Definitely not tacky as far as I'm concerned. Being shirtless should be allowed everywhere.

Never tried it indoors but did once in a restaurant. It was also by the beach and it was al fresco. Some guys were shirtless too.

@AAAmax That's great man. Probably less awkward at outside based beach restaurant but one shouldn't care I guess. Would be awesome if it was the normal to see shirtless guys on any establishment esp on warm nights.

@Ruralfitys If it's up to us, that wouldn't be a problem. But of course, establishments have their own rules.
