School has started back up and the available staff has diminished significantly, not that we had big numbers to begin with.
Last night there was only two of our scheduled to run nine stations. We’ve done it before, but still…the challenge presented itself.
But it turned out our rush ended up being maybe five tables of 2-3 people each, and the orders were very simple with no fuss. It flowed smoothly like clockwork.
And there was even ample downtime to catch the rare breath in case we needed it.
And even with it taking a solid hour to clean, we were still able to get out at a decent time to see a hint of light touching the clouds.
A beautiful shift. One that’s needed way more than we get.
