Were you lucky enough to witness the areola borealis last evening?

I heard it was spectacular and very rare.

A teeny tiny bit, there was really too much light pollution in the neighborhood and we were too tired to drive the 20 mins out of the city.

I probably would have gone but I did see them earlier this summer.

@Keeper Yeah, you could see a questionably tiny bit of pink through the camera but nothing to the naked eye.

I know they were out though because a friend in a darker neighborhood got some nice pictures from their backyard.
