Sometimes we aren’t always free to love, times where we want to show and give our love to another but can’t. Sometimes its not that we believe it’s unworthy but instead we believe it is ourselves that are not good enough and are worthy to give or show our love to another.

@NewBeginnings7790 The idea of this post applies to everything. Including your relationship with yourself. Actually, that’s what inspired the writing for me.

@Reject I understand but it’s hard to begin to believe in yourself and learn to love yourself when you have never felt truly accepted or loved.

@NewBeginnings7790 The problem with that is, if you think hard enough. There’s never a reason to feel accepted or loved. Your brain can always justify whatever your feelings are.

When you say “free to love” as having the ability to… then yes, we are free to do so.
When when you say free as always having the choice to do it, to express it, that’s a different story. And we don’t always have that free to express it.

@CookieCrumbs You are always free if you believe you are. However, the brain is very good at convincing you otherwise. It can put a stopper on all forms of love. So yes, many feel as though they cannot make the choice to love. I believe they could, if they would only get their brain to step out of the way. When I prefaced with “illusions” that was me calling out the definitions your brain likes to hold onto.

There is no such thing as free will. We are all victims of our Karma. There are always choices.
