Good but it still has to depend on your neighbor being a good person. Also, exercising your freedom shouldn't cause damage to your society. Your neighbor might be having your back but shooting up every stranger for made up reasons.
I remember several stand your ground incidents where "law abiding" citizens shot people knocking on their door asking for help.
If you think about it, there's no such thing as total freedom in a civilized society because you have to care about others, even those who don't look like you or live in your neighborhood.
Freedom for human beings really depends on how good of a person you are; how good you are at regulating yourself.
