Freedom is not free

How is it in America that we assert ourselves as a super power and meddle in affairs of other nations, but we marginalize and offer no aide to the people who are under the weight of home grown terrorism right here everyday? Where police refuse to do their jobs and people are allowed to have Tyrannical holds on communities with no back lash for decades.
Poets express more than you know

It may not seem to fit, but he was very political,
(Cohen - There is a Law)

How many times did you call me
And I knew it was late
I left everybody
But I never went straightHow many times did you call me
And I knew it was late
I left everybody
But I never went straight
I don't claim to be guilty
But I do understand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand

Now my heart's like a blister
From doin' what I do
If the moon has a sister
It's got to be you
I'm gonna miss you forever
Tho' it's not what I planned
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand

Now the deal has been dirty
Since dirty began
I'm not asking for mercy
Not from the man
You just don't ask for mercy
While you're still on the stand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand

I don't claim to be guilty
Guilty's too grand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand

That's all I can say, baby
That's all I can say
It wasn't for nothing
That they put me away
I fell with my angel
Down the chain of command
There's a law, there's an arm, there's a hand

What is often seen as meddling in the affairs of other Nations, is actually America's rent-a-soldier program at work. The US Government makes a ton of money off renting their military support to Nations around the world, like Saudi Arabia for example.

Right now, there are almost 3000 US Marines stationed in Saudi Arabia providing back-up security for Saudi's own security forces, but the US makes a million dollars a day from those rented Marines who just stand around and create a visual presence.

The reason the US doesn't focus on it's own domestic scene is because there's no money in it for the US Government.
