@similarexperience uh....in case you’ve missed it....COVID is a global pandemic...that’s the difference. If a different variety of pathogen were concerned in a context of a global pandemic, similar measures would’ve been implemented

@thiccchungles Serious question actually - I want to live free. I want to be able to buy food or goods without being forced to wear a mask and have my movements micromanaged by endless zig zag lines and one way systems. I would like to see my family and friend without being arrested!

@similarexperience yes. I've been wanting to play soccer and lose 6 lbs of fat I've gained as I NEVER stay indoors and love to stay moving. However, knowing this puts the people around me at risk or death, OBVIOUSLY that's not worth it, yeah? ._.

I have the opportunity to play every week and choose not to. My freedom is not being taken any more than how my safety outside has been taken. In the same light, the exaggeration of the virus' mortality and morbidity rate is real. Likewise, the exaggeration of our rights being stripped

@bijouxbroussard People always spread viruses - every cold and flu season and nobody says anything and theres certainly no lockdown. But sorry....I forgot....this is the deadliest virus the world has ever known, something we never could have ever predicted and what could we possibly do?????

@similarexperience Plenty of people have said and done quite a bit regarding influenza. You might want to read up on it. Now we even have a vaccine, although it took decades.
Incidentally, this is not that.
