You ought to set up dummy packages with a ring camera and then post the pictures in an community newsletter
"Shame shame.

@Adrift Thing is, there are cameras ALL over the building already, particularly in front of the mail area. But the cameras don't tell anyone if the package being picked up from the mail area belongs to the person taking it.

@4meAndyou Thats why you set up the dummy packages.
You could even put an air tag in them.

@Adrift Management DID get involved. They sent out a letter TELLING the thieves, and the well meaning people, NOT to touch other people's packages. 🤣🤣🤣

Simple solution: borrow a cat (if you don't have one already). Instead of a typical litterbox, use a delivered package's box. When the cat fills it, tape it back up and put it outside your door.

It'll put a dent in the thieving.

@Rabscuttle I'll bet it would!

@oldguy73 YES!!! 🤣🤣🤣 No...the package finally did arrive. I got downstairs JUST as she was incorrectly leaving both packages in the foyer entry of the building...where anyone from the PARKING LOT could just walk in and grab them. So... at least I don't have to worry about that!!!
