Only a few times as an adult. My husband doesn’t enjoy it as much as I do. However, this was my childhood. We would get in the car and drive 600 miles to Portland Oregon for a cup of coffee or down to Northern California to stare at the ocean for a few hours and drive home again. Most of our getting in the car and driving trips took us to the coast, but eastern Montana or all over western Canada were not uncommon either.

Me too! But we seem to be doing this a bit more. I think sitting around the house has grown dull. There is a whole world around us and if I have my way I’ll see it all starting with one meandering road trip at a time.
