Going on tour with fellow musicians in college. We travelled all over the U.S. and that summer we visited Paris.

@bijouxbroussard Wish I could have been with yall on that ,I bet it was cool .

I traveled the US playing my music in every club and dive that would let me play
and back out again to play gospel music with my daughters .
My share of big events ,and a lot of 3 day hog roasts and I was the band .

I always wanted to do it with a band of gypsy's or hippies in a big bus
not a care in the world ,just going town to town living off tips ,needing for nothing ,just having a good time .
But for me it had to be a living ,doing my thing but also supporting my wife and I with the talents God gave me ,,
with my kids it was a ministry ,I just wanted to share love and joy and give thanks that I finally had my kids back in my life .I was so lost and empty without them ,to this day ,they are my world .

Never got to go to college but I made sure my kids did .
I guess the 70's and 80's my college was flying across the ocean in a boat ,tunes blasting ,looking for someone to save ,
we were a hippy bunch having a good time on Uncle Sams dime LOL ,
we felt like hero's but were not so arrogant we wanted anyone to look at us like that ,we just loved being able to save the day ,and feel like we had actually contributed something to the world while doing it .
That I was lucky enough to be a member of the US Coast Guard still makes me proud

But its always a pleasure when you post little things about yourself ,
I get to know a lady I love dearly just a little better

I would have loved to have seen Paris ,especially with a rag tag bunch of musicians ,
but the only countries I got to see were the ones people risked dying to get away from ,and I had to "rescue "them ,,and take them ,or deport them back
not a part of the job I liked or that I am even proud of ,but it was my job .

I am glad we at least got to meet here ,
its always a pleasure ,I wish one day I could hug your neck ,
thank you personally for always being so sweet and so kind to me
and being a little sunshine into other peoples lives as well , 🤗❤🤗

PS ,I missed adding you on a list of people who are special to me ,
one soosie posted ,it was not meant for that exactly ,but I wanted her to know how special she was to me ,it was a bad day health wise and I was concerned if I would see another one that day ,so I named all the people from other countries that have effected my life ,and friends in the US too
The reason I never do that as a rule is I always forget someone
but I was a little on the emotional side ,so I added as many people as I could think of
I missed you and my Brother Puck ,I hope you both know I genuinely love both of you .
kind people who make my day just a little better mean every thing to me ,
yall (pardon my southern typing LOL )are at at the top of the list
I hope your day is a blessed one ,you always bless mine
