My childhood. I was born into the utmost fringes of the counter culture. My parents regained custody of me when I was six. I had been living in Zihuatanejo with my grandparents prior to that. It was a wild ride from 6 to 14. My parents let me partake of all the hallucinogens that they partook of. They thought it would "open my third eye". It opened something. We lived on communes and traveled around in a psychedelic converted camper truck named "Mother". We traveled all over the United States and Mexico, and kept away from the tourist areas. It was amazing and terrifying and I consider myself damn fortunate to have had the intense exposure to so many things and so many places. It was a non stop adventure from 6 to 14 when I ran away to live with my grandparents again. Adventures can be pretty uncomfortable at times. I went to job corps and joined the Army when the Iranians took the 51 hostages. My life up to that point made boot camp a breeze!

i always wanted to join a commune, except for the idea of giving up all your shit
@TheCoolestCat There is always some amazing drama. We stayed at the Green Parrot Goat Farm, and Sky River,. The Green Parrot Goat Farm made the news eventually when everyone got lead poisoning from making wine in an old bathtub!
