@ShadowedWhispers During my first 160 foot helattack, in the service, I ran the line through my D ring in reverse, and this Lt. corrected it real fast as I went out the door. If he hadn't have acted so quickly I would have pretty much 'free fell' the whole way. It was one of those moments you never forget.

Yeah. My boys and I are involved in BoyScouts and we rock climb and repel. They are very serious about all safety gear and processes. 👍@puck61

Have you ever heard of Australian rappelling? (I'm sure you have.) Anyway, I 'did' end up "spidering" the first time I did that, but it was only 20 feet into sand. It was in Coronado and the bastard pushed me over!
