Inspired by LadyBronte I would like to ask a question - What do you think of the set-up/format on here and why do you think that? I

@Egg01 Yeah, "old" internet forums were more about community, now they tend to focus more attention on a select few, probably the paying VIPs.

But long story short on here - a lot of content is blocked through various methods.

Most people do not like how the algorithm on here works but don't even bother complaining about it anymore. It's like, "Oh well".

If that means buy VIP, maybe that works but me, I am not going to pay on a site where probably 1/3 of the regulars have me blocked. Like paying to be ignored.

@HoeBag The VIP part isn't true. I have VIP and my posts seem to go to the back of the line. ☹

@Musicman What then causes some peoples' posts to move to the front of the line and others to the back? BTW I have never had VIP, I was just taking a guess.

In my case, I figured maybe because I tend to delete most of my threads after a while but I guess no one really knows how the d4mned algorithm works.

@HoeBag Their favorites and people who post a lot go to the front of the line. Looks like you and I are not part of the "in crowd".

I do not make many threads anyways, usually just my we*rd thoughts.
