On line or irl?

Irl, it’s easy. I’m pretty confident, dress well and am well spoken. I’m also pretty fit for my age so it’s easy to garner a smile from someone when you smile, say “hello”, or strike up a conversation.

On line, however, I’m awful. I really don’t reach out because I don’t want to bother someone when I’m sure most of them (the women here) are pestered enough. Plus, there’s the age issue. Being older is a liability. There’s a lot of ageism. It’s easy for others to misconstrue simple friendliness for “ just another dude trying to hit on them”. I’ll pass on that risk just to avoid that potential perception. 🫤
